On July 17, 2023, under the leadership of Agasthiya Krupa Anbuchezhiyan Ayyah, the Agasthiya Krupa Foundation held a sacred Amavasai Annadhanam ceremony at Babukkan Thottam, Kanchipuram. The event, conducted in honor of Aadi Amavasai, included a traditional Srardham ritual, offering food to 108 individuals in need. The ritual followed a detailed ceremonial process, with 11 priests performing Vishnu Sahasranamam recitations, Rudram, and various other chants. After the rituals, the priests were honored with a meal and traditional respects.
Participants gathered for ancestral blessings, dedicating the day to their forefathers and invoking well-being for future generations. This event served as a reminder of the foundation’s commitment to upholding dharma and compassion within the community, and it was met with gratitude and support from all who attended.
The act of feeding the poor and needy during Amavasai is considered to bring divine grace, foster peace in the community, and create a connection to higher spiritual realms.
Guided by the belief that feeding others is a path to divine grace, Ayyah's team and volunteers joined hands to make the event a success, ensuring that every meal served honored those values.
Ayyah dedication ensures that food is served in a spiritually charged environment, allowing participants to engage in an act of compassion that is both personally and collectively beneficial.
